There’s something oddly soothing about the terrifying nature of uncertainty, isn’t there? The new year has just begun, which means your life could go any number of ways if you believe enough (or not enough) in yourself. At the very least, 2017 couldn’t possibly be the trash heap that 2016 turned out to be, right?
Don’t get us wrong, we know the resolutions we set for ourselves won’t hold, having a new president in the White House won’t actually be the end of the world (at least we keep trying to tell ourselves that), and pretty much everything will be the exact same as it ever was. No new year is going to change that in and of itself. It never does. It’s all about our positive attitudes and putting general good vibes out there to bounce off of each other. We choose to continue doing that with daily funny photos. Pay it forward, would you? We’re not saying go and make your own funny photos roundup and put it online every day — what are you trying to do, take out jobs? We’re simply saying let’s make this a year of not nitpicking and whining and cutting each other down for every little thing that happens in the world. If anything, a new year is a fresh start for everyone. Let’s do it right this time.
