Japanese baseball fans who turned up to watch the game between the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters and the Yakult Swallows got a live-action movie trailer when the iconic ghosts from The Ring and The Grudge showed up to battle it out on the field. The creepy boy from The Grudge also makes an appearance. It was all part of the marketing campaign for the upcoming film Sadako vs. Kayako, in which the horror femmes battle it out for undead supremacy. Sadako threw a pitch that was reportedly clocked at 96 kilometers per hour (60 mph), which Kayako thwacked across the field before collapsing. Far creepier than the ghosts are the grinning team mascots in the background. The film opens in Japan June 18.
