Amy Schumer UK Comedy Tour Dates Announced

The first ever Amy Schumer UK comedy tour has been announced, with the comedian set to bring her stand-up show to the region for the first time ever.

Schumer, who recently wrote and starred in the film Trainwreck alongside Bill Hader, made the announcement on Twitter, revealing a selection of dates in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin, with the tour also coming to various destinations across Europe. Billed the #SchumerTour, the comedian will perform on the following dates:

August 26 – Dublin, IE (3 Arena)

August 28 – Amsterdam, NL (Heineken Music Hall)

August 30 – Edinburgh, UK (Edinburgh Playhouse

August 31 – Stockholm, SWE (Hovet)

September 1 – Oslo, NOR (Oslo Spektrum)

September 2 – Copenhagen, DEN (Forum Copenhagen)

September 3 – Manchester, UK (Apollo Manchester)

September 4 – London, UK ( O2 Arena)

These dates will take place after the comedian has concluded the North American shows of the #SchumerTour, with her set to perform stand-up in New York City’s Madison Square Garden on June 23. She will also launch The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo prior to her European dates on August 16, a book that is set to include humorous essays pertaining to “[Schumer’s] teenage years, her family, relationships, and sex.”

Later this year Schumer will star in the drama Thank You For Your Service, a film which focuses upon the impact that post traumatic stress disorder has on soldiers’ lives when they return home from war. It will be directed by Jason Hall, best known for 2014’s American Sniper, and will also star Miles Teller and Haley Bennett.
