Top 10 Star Wars Characters Who Deserve Their Own Video Game

Star Wars is a beloved series not because of its space battles, nor its lightsaber battles, nor its Force chokes/lightning: it’s beloved because of its characters. The major difference between the prequels and the original trilogy was that throughout the duration of Episode I, II and III, there wasn’t a single character the audience wanted to root for. Aside from perhaps Obi-Wan Kenobi and, lamentably, Jar-Jar Binks, every character’s emotional spectrum ranged from “stern” to “super stern,” with there being very little middle ground. Even Yoda had been transformed from a map muppet into a rational diplomat.

Throughout the course of the original trilogy and now The Force Awakens, we were introduced to a colorful cast of characters so memorable that even if their time on screen was only fleeting, they’ve still probably got a fan page somewhere on the Internet. But despite this, few characters in the Star Wars universe have received their own spin-off video games outside of its core protagonists, with the likes of Luke and Anakin Skywalker frequently topping the bill and everyone else frequently resigned to cameo appearances, if they’re even included.
