Outside Lands Lineup: Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, J Cole Top Incredible Bill

You know that one friend who always gripes that the festivals are all the same, throwing Debbie Downer scowls at every lineup reveal? We’ve all got at least one. Well, make sure you steer that friend clear of this year’s Outside Lands festival. Because while the lineup includes many of the usual suspects of the 2016 festival circuit, the potency in store for the fog-kissed hordes in attendance at Golden Gate Park from Aug. 5-7 is at an all-time high.

Radiohead are set to headline the festival, a godsend for fans who can’t fathom the Midwestern sweat-soaked circus of Lollapalooza (where they’re also topping the bill). Also headlining are LCD Soundsystem, Lionel Richie, Lana Del Rey and J. Cole.

Then you’ve got your standard run of big-box EDM throwdowns like Major Lazer and Zedd (who have a bit of cattiness between them), but here’s where things get very interesting: beloved folk crooner Sufjan Stevens will be there, as well as Chance The Rapper, Big Grams, Jason Isbell, Miike Snow, The Last Shadow Puppets, Ryan Adams, Duran Duran, the weirdo collaboration of Sean Lennon and Les Claypool called The Claypool Lennon Delirium, glorious hellion Peaches, our SXSW favorite Anderson. Paak and even the live festival debut of Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem from The Muppets!

One last thing: Air, the legendary French duo and pioneers of one of the greatest atmospheric albums of all time (Talkie Walkie) will be there. The notion of Air and Radiohead on the same bill is nearly too awesome to comprehend – and they’re playing the same day.

Check out the full lineup + poster below. Both VIP and single-day GA tickets for the fest will go on sale on Thursday.
