Turns out British filmmaker Louis Theroux has quite the Aussie following after huge demand for tickets to his first ever Australian speaking tour has forced the addition of some new shows.
Kicking off in September and hitting all the major capital cities on his way across the country, Theroux has added an added a mix of matinees and additional shows to the tour. There is a new 3pm matinee show in Melbourne ahead of the 8pm show on Sunday September 25th, a whole extra show in Sydney on Wednesday 28th September, and a 4pm matinee in Brisbane on Saturday 1st October before the previously announced 8pm show.

Renowned for his divisive films and television programs focusing on controversial subjects such as white supremacists and death row inmates, the shows will be dialogue-based and retrospectively reflect on his numerous films to date. Julia Zemiro will be hosting a Q-and-A style discussion with the filmmaker, set to give fans an intimate look into the mind of one of the world’s most peculiarly charming documentary filmmakers working today.
Not only that though, but Theroux, who recently proclaimed Donald Trump the ideal documentary subject, is also promising to engage in an audience Q&A.
There are pre-sale tickets on sale now, with sales becoming available to general public this Monday.
