K.D. Lang Is Joining Neko Case And Laura Veirs For New Album

Canadian songstress K.D. Lang will be releasing an album as well as going on tour with Neko Case and Laura Veirs.

According to reports, the new LP will be entitled case/lang/veirs and will come out in June. It was recorded over the course of more than two years, and will include 14 tracks. They will perform a string of concerts across the US, kicking things off in San Diego on June 22nd. They will only make two Canadian stops: in Victoria, BC, and then they will wrap things up in Winnipeg on August 14th.

Edmonton’s Lang, who has been nominated for 11 Grammys and has won four, released her last album in 2008 (it was called Watershed). Meanwhile, Case, who is an American singer-songwriter, is best known for being in the Canadian indie rock group The New Pornographers, and Veirs, who is also American, has released nine albums over the course of her professional career.
