Big Brother Canada Reveals Contestants For Season 4

The countdown is on as we get closer to the premiere date of Big Brother Canada, with the fourth season premiering on Wednesday, March 2nd – the show has been offering viewers a sneak peek at some of the contestants, with another batch having been revealed yesterday. And this year, in a new twist, two international Big Brother icons will enter into the Big Brother Canada house.

The first group of contestants that were revealed earlier this week include a pipeline worker from Winnipeg, an actor from Edmonton, an entrepreneur from Fort McMurray, a server from Vancouver, a digital marketing specialist from Toronto, a vet tech assistant from Thunder Bay, and a fashion stylist from Calgary. The final seven houseguests are a social media specialist from Winnipeg, a housekeeper from Vancouver, a welder from Saint John, a flight attendant from Calgary, a YouTuber from Guelph, a student/DJ from Ottawa, and a customer service supervisor from Brampton.

The series, which kicks off on March 2nd, in a Big Brother first, viewers will have the chance to vote in an international fan-favourite houseguest, either from the BB US, BB Italy, BB Australia, or BB UK.

“We’re very excited to be introducing this new aspect to Big Brother Canada, which has never been done in any country before,” said Christine Shipton, SVP of Content at Shaw Media, in a press release. “The addition of the international wildcards makes this season especially unique and unpredictable. Big Brother follows different house rules in each country and these worlds are about to collide!”

The fourth season of Big Brother Canada premieres Wednesday, March 2nd at 9 pm on Global.

Big Brother Canada airs Wednesdays at 9 pm, Thursdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 7 pm. Also, fans can watch even more when the Big Brother Canada Side Show premieres Friday, March 4th at 7pm/10pm on Slice, with season-three winner Sarah Hanlon and season-one houseguest Peter Brown joining host Arisa Cox to analyze the week’s shenanigans.
