Odeon Leicester Square has pledged its support to Leonardo DiCaprio’s bid for an Oscar at the 88th Academy Awards, changing its name to “Leodeon” in the run-up to the ceremony.

The cinema has changed its logo to feature a golden “Leo”, as Leonardo DiCaprio looks set to receive his first ever Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in The Revenant. The venue has also placed giant representations of the Oscars trophy outside of its doors.

Londoners have been quick to post snapshots of themselves outside the cinema since it received its makeover earlier today.

The cinema will remain known as “Leodeon” until the Academy Awards on Sunday (February 28th). It’s uncertain what the chain’s plans are if Leo picks up the Oscar.
