Conker Sequel Confirmed? Former WWE Star Working on a “Top Secret Squirrel Game”

A sequel to the Nintendo 64 classic Conker’s Bad Fur Day may finally be on its way, with former WWE Superstar Ken Anderson revealing that he’s working on a “top secret squirrel game.”

Anderson, who went by the name of Mr. Kennedy during his tenure with the WWE before moving to rival promotion TNA, posted the below image to Instagram of him in a recording booth, alongside the caption: “Voiceover work for a top super secret squirrel video game project. Much fun! Thanks to my friend Steven Jaros for hooking it up!”

Steve Jaros was the creative director behind the Saint’s Row series, who later moved from developers Volition to Valve. Conker’s Bad Fur Day was created by Rare, so we’re not entirely sure how Jaros is connected to it, though it could simply be a case of him being friendly with Rare’s staff.

While it hasn’t been confirmed whether or not this means a Conker sequel is officially on the way, this is the most convincing piece of evidence we’ve received so far that we may see a new release in the series at some point in the near future.
