As someone who went to Alabama, I can assure you that intramural flag football is serious business in the south. Some of those teams actually conduct practices, have play books and team captains that work my more player-coaches. A loss for those teams damages their egos more than Johnny Manziel being denied a good bro-night out on the town.
I’ll just stick to my local kick ball team, where you can play with beer in hand.
