Canadian Line-up For TIFF Announced

Organizers at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) have announced Canadian projects that will be shown at the event, taking place next month. Celebs like Ellen Page as well as Ethan Hawke are behind two of these projects.

A long list of Canuck talent will be representing, from Patricia Rozema (and her flick Into The Forest with Page, Anne Émond (and Our Loved Ones), and Kazik Radwanski (How Heavy This Hammer) to Guy Édoin (and his work Ville-Marie), along with documentarians Mina Shum (Ninth Floor, which profiles the Sir George Williams Riot of 1969) and Avi Lewis (formerly of the CBC with his project This Changes Everything). Bruce McDonald, Guy Maddin and Philippe Falardeau, as well as Rossif Sutherland and Evan Rachel Wood, will be featured at TIFF too.

There will also be new films from Andrew Cividino, Adam Garnet Jones and Stephen Dunn, and an impressive first feature by renowned visual contemporary artist Mark Lewis.
