New Music: The Weeknd ‘I Can’t Feel My Face’ From Apple’s WWDC Keynote

Fans of The Weeknd were delighted on Monday when Abel Tesfaye performed a brand new song at Apple’s WWDC keynote speech in San Francisco, and now they can ear the full version of “Can’t Feel My Face”.

The R&B crooner took the stage after Apple’s announcement of their Spotify-killer streaming service, called Apple Music. The track is a new collaboration with renowned pop songwriter Max Martin, who has worked with tBritney Spears, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.

Republic Records executive Charlie Walk recently tweeted, “I just worked out to the craziest @theweeknd song ever. Can’t wait for you to hear it in June!”

Really though? What the hell is crazy about this tame-ass R&B song? It’s good, don’t get me wrong, but there’s no need to soak something in hyperbole for the sake of it.

While rumors have been circulating that The Weeknd would release an entire new album on August 28, the singer has since tweeted that “information about my album date is false”.
