EDC NY Adds Oliver Heldens and Dyro to Killer Lineup

We’re in the final countdown to EDC New York, the east coast’s pre-cursor answer to the massive throwdown of EDC Las Vegas later this year, and with new additions to the lineup anticipation is hitting a fever pitch.

Ready for dance season to kick off? With the addition of Oliver Heldens and Dyro to the bill, MetLife Stadium is going to go right the hell off over the May 23rd-24th weekend. The festival boasts an already-killer roster, featuring Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Kaskade, Nicky Romero and more all set to make appearances. As for the difference in atmosphere and adventure between the two sides of the EDC coin (NY and LV), Pasquale Rotella – CEO of Insomniac Events and all things Electric Daisy Carnival – had the following to offer:

“Vegas is a destination festival. It’s (Insomniac’s) New Year’s Eve. It’s our biggest festival. we do 400,000 people over three days,” he said. “With EDC New York, last year we did 50,000 people a day over two days. New York is more of a daytime festival. Vegas is a nighttime festival. So we have different art installations and different special effects. It changes everywhere we go.”
