Ghostbusters: The New Cast Revealed!

Paul Feig’s upcoming reboot of the sci-fi/comedy classic Ghostbusters is coming on July 26, 2016, and the cast has finally been announced. Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids), Melissa McCarthy (The Heat), Leslie Jones (Top Five) and Kate McKinnon (“Saturday Night Live”) are the all-new team of paranormal investigators… is that a good thing? Will this new Ghostbusters finally change the paradigm that claims, ridiculously, that women can’t headline blockbuster movies? Or does remaking an old property, instead of creating a new one, do the cause a disservice?

Will Chris Pratt Be the Next Indiana Jones?

Now that Disney has the rights to not only Star Wars but also Indiana Jones, it’s probably only a matter of time before they decide to put their own stamp on the blockbuster pulp franchise. Recent reports indicate that Chris Pratt, who recently starred in Disney’s mega-hit Guardians of the Galaxy, might be the frontrunner to take over the franchise from Harrison Ford. But would Chris Pratt really make a good Indiana Jones? Or is the studio just enamored of the star because he basically just played Han Solo?

Does the First ‘Fantastic Four’ Trailer Suck?

The first trailer for Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four has finally arrived, and it’s… not very good. Or is it? Is this the first superhero trailer in which the heroes could literally be replaced by any other characters without making any difference whatsoever? Do we really want a Fantastic Four movie with no sense of humor? Did the previous two films get anything right at all, or does the new Fantastic Four need to separate itself entirely from what has come before?
