With a new album on the horizon and festivals baiting their inclusion for next year, The Decemberists have announced a long run of shows between North America and Europe in the Winter and Spring.
The band’s first tour in three years will kick off in Dublin, and take them all through Europe before a farewell show in Milan, Italy. From they’re they’ll regroup at home for three weeks before a hometown Portland show, and a criss-cross through North America in the Spring.
The band has also announced a 7″ Black Friday Record Store Day release for their new single “Make You Better,” as well as the exclusive B-Side “Fits and Starts”. The Decemberists’ new album, What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World, arrives January 20 on Capitol.
