The Dead Weather Unveil Brooding New Rocker ‘Buzzkill(er)’

We won’t see a new album from The Dead Weather until next year, but Jack White has always been one to drop the long tease. That trend continues today with a new song, “Buzzkill(er),” as part of a run of two-song singles via Third Man Records’ Vault vinyl subscription service.

“Buzzkill(er)” and another new song “It’s Just Too Bad” will be available on November 4th in digital formats. In the meantime, have a listen to the jam, a smoky strut-rocker with a funk edge.

We’re more than a little excited to see frontwoman Alison Mosshart in her other band, The Kills, on Halloween night for Queens of The Stone Age’s spooktacular variety show in Los Angeles. Check out more details on the haunted mini-fest (and the next-level-terrifying haunted house accompanying the event) in our interview with QOTSA frontman Josh Homme.
