The brief rain showers didn’t dampen the mood in Chicago at Lollapalooza 2014 yesterday, as performances by Eminem, Arctic Monkeys, Portugal The Man and so many more kept the excitement high and the fans hungry for more.
Early on in the day, Portugal The Man performed at the Kidzapalooza stage, providing the youngsters in attendance with VIP access to see the show up close. A bit later, J Roddy Walston & The Business performed at the the Bud Light stage, giving a killer performance that festival goers won’t soon forget.
Things really heated up later that night when Eminem surprised the world by bringing Rihanna out on stage to perform a number of hits including “Love the Way You Lie” and “Monster.” Rihanna’s appearance aside, Em killed it without needing a backing track for the bulk of his performance. Finally, Arctic Monkeys served up an incredible performance, ending the show with “Knee Socks” and “R U Mine?”
