Video Premiere: Majestico Conjures The Stooges in Tribal Regalia For ‘Gimme Love’

The psych-glam rockin’ goodness that is Majestico returns today with a new Crave-exclusive video for the Stooges-tinged groove anthem “Gimme Love,” off his new album When Kingdom Come (ATO Records).

The brainchild of project nucleus Graham Fitzpenn has pushed his latest project into new sonic territory after the impressive Love Is God EP. When Kingdom Come was recorded with Andrija Tokic at his Bomb Shelter Studio, where Alabama Shakes’ Grammy-nominated Boys and Girls was given life, as well as countless other great albums. As evidenced by the sounds on the new record, Majestico clearly conjured a bit of the studio’s voodoo for the greater good of the music.

Check out the clip for “Gimme Love” below, exclusively premiered on CraveOnline – and try not to get caught up in the acid flashbacks as the scene gets increasingly frantic and dizzying through the course of the video.

For fans on the East Coast, Majestico will be joining the tremendous Alabama Shakes to perform at the Mercedes-Benz Evolution tour’s July 24 kickoff concert at New York’s Terminal 5. The NYC show will also feature a special DJ set by The Roots’ Questlove.

Keep up with Majestico at his official site, as well as on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
