NBA 2K15’s Box Art Features a Focused Kevin Durant

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant won the NBA’s coveted MVP award last season, and for good reason. He recorded 2593 points, 445 assists, and a .503 field goal percentage during the regular season, propelling his young team to the Conference Finals where they would lose 2-4 to a ridiculously good San Antonio Spurs squad.

Durant’s achievements have been recognized, and 2K has put him front and center on NBA 2K15‘s box art. This is one of the biggest accomplishments an athlete can acquire, joining the likes of Lebron James and Michael Jordan.

You can see the box art below:

Not too shabby. It certainly looks better than the Madden 15 cover.

The NBA 2K franchise has been on fire, like Durant, these past few years. It’s made a habit out of earning acclaim, and selling millions of copies. Last year’ release earned over 70 game of the year nominations, which doesn’t just happen by mistake.

NBA 2K15 still hasn’t been completely uncovered, yet, but we know it’ll add voice acting from star players. Its MVP trailer showed that it’ll try to simulate the remarkable journey from rookie to all-star and beyond. Some speculate that Create-A-Player will see major renovation.

NBA 2K15 will release on October 7th for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
