Video Premiere: The Fremen Put South Bank In Focus with ‘Democide’ Clip

Crave’s latest video premiere arrives today from South London’s The Fremen, in a performance clip for “Democide”. The Fremen are a genre-splicing underground act who embody the DIY ethics that resonate with the culture they intend to represent. The video was shot on location at the now under-threat legendary South Bank skatepark in London, including footage provided by legendary British skate cinematographer Henry Edwards-Wood.

After a tentative introduction into the scene with the DIY ‘Darkness Is Light Enough’ EP and taking their inimitable sound on the road last year, The Fremen (and fans alike) are preparing for the next step: a hotly anticipated new release this fall. The Fremen are also involved in the Long Live South Bank campaign, an award winning initiative to help preserve the iconic Southbank Undercroft skate park, which shares support from infamous professional skateboarder Chad Muska.

Check out the video for “Democide” below, featuring the threatened South Bank as a naturally fitting setting for the band’s high-octane grit.

Keep up with The Fremen at their official site, as well as on Facebook and Twitter.
