Jay Z and Beyonce Tour Set For Second Highest-Grossing Run of All Time

The throne has been sufficiently watched. Jay Z and Beyonce Knowles‘ co-headlining “On the Run” tour, which kicks off this week, is already crushing some serious numbers, according to Forbes. The spousal tag-team tour is now on track to become one of the most successful tours in live music history.

The 20 show run through the U.S. has reportedly approached 1 million tickets sold, with a price tag of nearly $100 million. Banking nearly $5 million per show, the tour is on track to be the second highest grossing concert series of all time.

Miami’s Sun Life Stadium will host the tour kickoff, with Jay Z and Bey hitting major U.S. markets before visiting France for a two-night show at the Stade de France on September 12-13.
