WTF?! Macklemore Draws Racism Claims With Odd Costume

Let’s call it “Rorschach costuming”: During a performance at the opening of a music video-centric exhibit at Seattle’s EMP Museum on Friday, Macklemore donned an odd getup including a dark wig, a paste-on beard and fake nose. The internets understandably exploded with claims of anti-semitism, with people assuming that Macklemore was dressed as some sort of Jewish caricature.

Update 5/20: Macklemore has apologized, attempts a clarification.
