Anberlin Announce Australian Farewell Tour Dates

Anberlin will visit Australia for the last time this September as part of the band’s farewell tour.

‘The Final Tour’ will support the band’s seventh and final album after 12 years together and will make stops all across the US, Canada, the UK, one European show in Sweden, Brazil and Australia before wrapping up with four final dates in the US. The final November 15 show in Philadelphia is already sold-out.

“We want to do this differently than a lot of bands we’ve seen where they just end up falling flat, giving up and hating each other,” said Anberlin guitarist Joseph Milligan in a YouTube message in January announcing the quintet’s decision to call it quits.

Anberlin will visit Australia for a week, squeezing in shows in Fremantle, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to play tracks from the upcoming albums as well as old favourites spanning from 2003’s Blueprints For The Black Market 2012’s Vital.

“We want to make sure we see every single person that has ever given anything to this band- whether it’s singing along, buying a t-shirt or naming their kid after us.”
