Sony Trademarks Two New Games, “Entwined” and “Kill Strain”

The PS4 has plenty of games already confirmed, but Sony is always looking to expand its library. Two new games prepare for announcement.

Two trademarks have been filed by SCEA this week. One bears the name “Entwined“, while the other is “Kill Strain“. Both are labeled as software, presumably for the PS4.

Rumors circulating the web state that Kill Strain may be a next-gen iteration of the Syphon Filter series, a franchise that did wonders for the original PlayStation with its third-person action gameplay. A zombie setting may be anther option.

Entwined is anyone’s guess. There was a puzzle game titled Entwined: Strings of Deception which came our a few years back. There’s a chance they have a correlation.

We expect these two games to be announced this June at E3 2014.
