Prevost Wins Big At Saskatchewan Country Music Association Awards

Up-and-comer Cody Prevost, along with bands like Wyatt and musicians such as Jess Moskaluke, were celebrated at the Saskatchewan Country Music Association Awards this past weekend in Nipawin.

Prevost won for fan’s choice entertainer of the year and male vocalist of the year, while Wyatt took home group of the year (their seventh consecutive win in the category), video of the year and album of the year. Moskaluke of Langenburg won female vocalist of the year and single of the year.

“It’s great to see the young up and coming artists and all the work they are putting into it,” Wyatt’s Scott Patrick said to CBC News. “It’s nice for us to be able to give them a helping hand and see their excitement.”

This year was the 25th anniversary of the Saskatchewan Country Music Association Awards.
