PAX EAST 2014: Star Citizen Appears in Live Gameplay Demo

You could argue that Star Citizen is the most anticipated game on the PC platform. Raising funds of over $41 million since it was announced, it’s an answer the cravings for a large scale, modern sci-fi space video game. In other words, it’s an EVE Online with action combat.

Cloud Imperium Games is so proud of its work that its director, Chris Roberts, performed a live demo of Star Citizen‘s gameplay during a panel at today’s PAX East 2014 panel. In the video you can see the action combat that has earned it overwhelming support over the years. Remember, this is a game with a massive universe, and it’s all hosted on the CryEngine 3, hence the gorgeous graphics. Also, the game is more than a year away from release, so it’s only going to get better than what’s shown here.
