Brett Kissel, Dean Brody, And Gord Bamford Added To Lineup For Juno Awards

Rising country star Brett Kissel, seven-time CCMA Award winner Dean Brody, and the 16-time CCMA winner and “country junkie” himself Gord Bamford were announced as additional performers for the 2014 Juno Awards. The newly announced performers will contend for 2014 JUNO Awards: Kissel for Breakthrough Artist of the Year (sponsored by FACTOR and Radio Starmaker Fund), as well as going head to head with Brody and Bamford for Country Album of the Year.

They will join previously announced performers like Robin Thicke, Walk Off The Earth, The Sheepdogs, Tegan and Sara, and Serena Ryder.

In addition, it was revealed today in a press release that Canadian songstress and eight-time JUNO Award winner Sarah McLachlan will take the stage as a special presenter for MusiCounts, Canada’s music education charity associated with CARAS. McLachlan will be speaking about the extensive work MusiCounts is doing in 2014 that will help keep music alive for Canadian youth and put instruments into the hands of children who need it most. And members of the gold medal winning Women’s Curling team Jennifer Jones and her mates are confirmed to present at Juno Awards as well.

The Juno Awards air on March 30th on CTV.
