SXSW 2014: Music Schedule Announced, New Artists Added

With less than a month to go until liftoff, South By Southwest (SXSW) released its full schedule of music showcases on Monday, featuring the day-by-day breakdown of more than 2,000 acts from all over the world between March 11-17th in Austin, Texas.

New acts announced for official showcases during SXSW are Warpaint, Bob Mould, Kurt Vile, Chance the Rapper, Ab-Soul, Future, Little Dragon, Mark Kozelek, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Deap Vally, Boys Noize, Dam-Funk, Julian Lennon, Little Boots, Kate Nash, Tech N9ne, Lunice, J. Roddy Walston & The Business, Lee Fields & The Expressions, Kelley Stoltz, No Joy and more.

While the current schedule showcases provide plenty of musical fodder for the week-long show marathon, it’s important to remember that many, if not most parties are still coming together

 – including CraveOnline’s party on March 12th! After Crave’s 2013 party delivered an amazing lineup with incredible performances from Reignwolf, Eagles of Death Metal, My Goodness, Blondfire and more, we’ve got our work cut out for us this time around.

Keep your eye out for the yet-unannounced official keynote speaker, as well as the schedules for two of Austin’s biggest party centers: Stubb’s and ACL Live.
