A couple of Australian bands have released new singles in the wake of the hugely successful Hottest 100.
The hugely popular and high polling The Preatures dropped ‘Better Than It Ever Could Be’ earlier this week ahead of what will be their debut album to be released later this year.
The band had a hit last year with the single ‘Is This How You Feel?’, which was nominated for Best Pop Release at the 2013 ARIA Awards and came in at No.9 on the Triple J Hottest 100 last Sunday.
Since the success of ‘Is This How You Feel?’, The Preatures have collaborated with another hot home grown product in producer/DJ Flume and are set to appear as one of a number of Aussie acts at the Coachella festival later this year.
Electro duo The Presets debuted their new single, ‘Goodbye Future’, on Triple J yesterday.
The pair are expected to release a number of tracks of the course of 2014 after it was revealed yesterday the band would be part of the 2014 Groovin The Moo festival.
