Coachella 2014 Lineup: First 8 Acts Announced

Anticipation is reaching a fever pitch for the Coachella 2014 lineup announcement, with the 2014 double-weekend music throwdown in the deserts of Indio, CA expected to shift the Summer festival season into high gear once again. With the full lineup just around the corner, the festival has begun letting the cat out of the bag, beginning with the first 8 acts.

The Coachella Valley Music Festival revealed late Tuesday that Motorhead will be performing at the festival, by way of an Instagram post on Tuesday:

The full lineup will arrive anytime now, but Coachella have already announced eight acts set to play – Motorhead, Future Islands, Bonobo, Factory Floor, Bombino, The Glitch Mob, The Internet, and The Magician.

The dates for the festival are April 11-13 for weekend one, and April 17-20 for weekend two. Presale offers are now closed, and ticket buying options won’t resume until the full lineup is announced.
