Kanye West Cancels Canadian Shows, Arcade Fire’s Reflektor Tops Charts

While Kanye West’s Canadian leg of his tour takes a beating, with him postponing two Toronto shows and canceling gigs in both Montreal and Vancouver, Arcade Fire’s newest album “Reflektor” has topped charts in both Canada and the US.

According to The Canadian Press, West had already canceled tour dates in Denver, Columbus, Minneapolis and St. Louis, citing “routing logistics” as the reason for the change-ups. The Toronto shows, scheduled to take place on November 12th and 13th at the Air Canada Centre, will now take place on December 22nd and 23rd.

Meanwhile, Montreal’s Arcade Fire, who just released their fourth album “Reflektor,” has seen as much success with this project as their last, topping charts in both Canada and south of the border. In Canada, more than 49,000 albums were sold, raising the album to Number 1, while in the US the album sold 140,000 copies.
