PlayStation 4 Sellout Forecast by President Obama

Don’t think the PlayStation 4 will be a hot seller this holiday season? Maybe the President of the United States can change your mind.

During his latest speech where he addressed concerns about his newly deployed Obamacare program, President Barack Obama said the following:

Unlike the day after Thanksgiving sales for the latest PlayStation or flat screen TVs, the insurance plans don’t run out. They’re not gonna sell out.

His quote was most likely done without any intention, but given he was reading off a teleprompter someone was responsible for his choice of words.

Obama previously used the Xbox brand in his discussion when talking about the recent government shutdown. Some PlayStation fans were unhappy. They should feel better now.

Both the Xbox One and PS4 are currently sold out with only weeks left before launch. Preliminary polls make it seem the PS4 has higher demand, but Microsoft says its console is in equal demand.
