The Plot: Groovin The Moo To Launch Electronic Festival

Organisers of the Groovin the Moo festival, Cattleyard Promotions, are at work organising an electronic sister event to Australia’s biggest regional music festival.

Cattleyard Promotions unveiled The Plot on Facebook on Thursday, describing the festival as “an exciting new party in Sydney and Melbourne that will put the Tron in electronic and the dance in your pants.”

Details about The Plot are at this stage scarce. We do know that it will fall during Australia’s summer festival period and feature in both Sydney and Melbourne.

Big Top Luna Park  will host The Plot of December 14 before continuing on in Melbourne the following day across the a couple of venues-  The Palace Theatre and Ding Dong Lounge in the CBD.

Miami Horror are confirmed as the first festival guest, however the full lineup announcement is set won’t drop until October 9.

Since debuting in 2005, Groovin’ The Moo has rapidly grown into huge part of Australia’s festival calendar. This year’s lineup featured Example, Matt and Kim, The Bronx, The Kooks, They Might Be Giants and Frightened Rabbit and five national regional destinations before the festival announced last week it would be expanding to South Australia in 2014.
