Today CraveOnline is proud to exclusively premiere the new album from soul-strumming Canada-born singer/guitarist Michael Bernard Fitzgerald. His groove-rich full-length debut, YES, will officially drop on August 27th via Trauma 2 Records, and will be the follow-up effort to his widely acclaimed Firecracker EP.
The first half of 2013 has kept Fitzgerald busy, having toured consistently and packing clubs throughout Canada, while also releasing the music video for the single “Firecracker”. He’s keeping the momentum on ten with the arrival of YES, which you can stream below, exclusively on CraveOnline!
Fitzgerald first fronted rock bands in high school, where he honed his voice and abilities on the six string. He later headed off to Australia for a little soul searching, and upon his return, proceeded to pursue writing and performing relentlessly, establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with.
“I love Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Bog Segar, Feist, Souls of Mischief, and Mason Jennings,” says MBF. “My simple goal is to pursue this craft as honestly as possible, devoid of smoke and mirrors…to tour around the world and live a beautiful musical life.”
