Stephen Colbert’s ‘Get Lucky’ Dance-a-Thon Recruits Cranston, Fallon, Stewart, Damon & More

Daft Punk committed the unthinkable, the unforgivable, the incredibly rude act of backing out of a hotly anticipated performance on Tuesday’s episode of “The Colbert Report”. They were restricted from playing due to contracts with Viacom, and an incredulous Stephen Colbert vowed to continue the dance party without them.

“We booked Click and Clack over here about a month ago,” Colbert said during Tuesday’s show. “Apparently, Daft Punk are going to make a surprise appearance on the MTV Video Music Awards. Don’t tell anyone, because fun fact: No one told me until two hours ago.” MTV – when you mess with the Colbert, he spoils your “surprise” announcement. Suck it.

So, fittingly, Stephen put together a dance montage with Hugh Laurie, Jeff Bridges, Jimmy Fallon, Bryan Cranston, Jon Stewart, Henry Kissinger, Nick Cannon and Matt Damon. The results are hilarious, as Colbert interrupts several other shows and broadcasts to spread his dance gospel.
