The Answer have returned with a new installment of their New Horizon Drinking Sessions series, where the Irish rockers take a drinking tour of the finest pubs in Ireland and beyond in celebration of their oncoming new album New Horizon.
After 13 years fine-tuning their eardrum-threatening gut-puncher music, the band are poised to unleash their fourth studio album on October 1st, a fearsome statement of intent that showcases their trademark rock n’ roll evangelism. The band is rocking a series of pub crawl sessions to break the international ice, with CraveOnline bringing you exclusive premieres of the series. Frontman Cormac Neeson explains: “It’s hard to find a good pint of Smithwicks outside of Ireland and for that reason it tends to be quite an under-rated drink. Take it from a singer who was kicked out of his first band for ‘not having a note in his head;’ nobody likes to feel under-rated. Give this drink a chance folks, and you’ll not be disappointed.”
New Horizon will boast artwork created by much-missed album art legend Storm Thorgerson (Pink Floyd/Led Zeppelin/Muse). A large-scale tour will follow shortly after.
