A disturbing fan theory suggests Avengers: Doomsday could hit Steve Rogers where it hurts most. The speculation, which has gained traction in an online discussion, points to someone from his past potentially becoming part of a mind game.
Avengers: Doomsday rumored to kill off Peggy
The rumor, which comes from MCU insider James Mack, centers on Peggy Carter, suggesting that the original version of the character will die and that a witch will later use her appearance to torment Steve. The claim remains unconfirmed, so fans should treat it with a grain of salt. Even without confirmation, the theory has struck a nerve with fans.
One commenter wrote, “I feel so bad for Steve Losing his best friend and his wife in the same movie,” while another warned, “Doom gona torture steve big time.” Someone else wrote “Doom really took everything from Steve Crazy.”
