Madonna Drops ‘Girl Gone Wild’ Single & Lyrics Video

Hot on the heels of the biggest show of her lifetime (the Super Bowl halftime show), Madonna will release her twelfth studio LP, MDNA, on March 26th via Live Nation Entertainment/Interscope Records. After the impact of her first single “Give Me All Your Lovin,” Queen Madge has returned with a new song & lyric video for “Girl Gone Wild”.

A saccharine escapade, “Girl Gone Wild” is a benign track meant for life inside the club. It’s safe territory for the Material Girl, whose team of producers and songwriters are meticulously dedicated to keeping her fanbase equally satiated and unchallenged (because we’re all still trying to get that atrocious “American Life” clip, wherein she rhymes “latte” with “Pilates”). Madonna, for her part, realizes that she “shouldn’t act this way” and that “good girls don’t misbehave,” but fortunately for her, she is a “bad girl anyway, hey!” Hey, 54 year old ladies can be bad girls too, can’t they?

Check out the lyric video below, as well as her massive world tour schedule for 2012, which is already beating the hell out of bank accounts across the nation.
