Driver Says HOA President Tried to Impound His Mustang After Mistaking It for Another Car

A Ford Mustang lover has had to deal with his neighborhood’s HOA for over five months after they allegedly threatened to get his car impounded and called the police to his house over the vehicle. Bradley Lokietek, a creator on TikTok (@904saleen) who is known for posting videos on his custom-built SN95 New Edge Ford Mustang (that’s the Saleen), claims that the HOA president has gone on a power trip and antagonized him personally, in part by installing high speed bumps that have already scraped and damaged his muscle car. Worse, it recently came to light that they likely confused his vehicle for another Ford Mustang that has been causing trouble in the neighborhood.

In a video that has been viewed over 300,000 times, Lokietek’s saga with the HOA began in March 2026 when he received a notice on February 19 accusing him of doing things with his car he says are “not physically possible.”

The letter claims that he performed a burnout near one of the speed bumps in January 27, resulting in damage to community property. However, he said this was impossible since he was at his shop over 100 miles away at the time.

For context, neighbors in the area have complained about a black Ford Mustang being loud, which could explain why the HOA was being aggressive on the matter.

On the other hand, Lokietek says the speed bumps, which are four inches high (which is on the higher side of what is legal for a speed bump), have already damaged the underside of his vehicle and posted alleged evidence in a separate video of his Mustang’s exhaust “being pretty torn up” after having to go over them multiple times. He also notes that other people in the neighborhood who own classic cars are frustrated with the speed bumps as well.

Since March, however, the situation escalated quickly. Lokietek says he attempted to have a conversation with the HOA, but he was effectively shut down. He asked the HOA to provide the supposed video evidence of him performing the burnout; however, he claims they have failed to produce it. He says that the HOA president told him personally that he was tired of his car and threatened to have it impounded, saying that he was further annoyed with his friends driving their vehicles in the neighborhood.

Then in late April, Lokietek crashed one of the HOA meetings, accusing the president and treasurer for calling the police to his house after he posted what he calls a joke on X (he says “my HOA is two weeks away from developing a nuclear weapon”). However, the board denied the accusation and quickly adjourned. One member can be heard ordering someone to call JSO (assumed to be short for the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office in Florida) in response to the confrontation.

Now in an August update, Lokietek explains why the HOA likely went after him in the first place despite him having an alibi for the original accusation. He says that there’s another black Ford Mustang, an S550, that has been making noise in his neighborhood for as long as he has been living there (around ten years). The older residents who complained probably confused that car with his own, not knowing the difference between the two Mustangs, which is an understandable but frustrating mistake.

It’s unclear whether the HOA ever admitted to making the false accusation against Lokietek, but he reveals that this might not matter. His father, who owns the home in the neighborhood, has put in his bid to replace the HOA president given the troubles they have had with the association. He is hopeful that his father could win merely on a platform of removing the speed bumps.
