Who’s the Boss? arrives on Prime Video in March

Who’s the Boss? is expanding its audience reach by arriving on Amazon Prime Video on March 25, 2026. The series dropped earlier on Hulu on December 8, 2023, and has been streaming there ever since.

Martin Cohan and Blake Hunter co-created the series, whose episodes are half-hour in length. They also co-produced it through the Hunter/Cohan Productions banner with Embassy Television/Embassy Communications and ELP Communications, and Columbia Pictures Television. The show’s cast includes Tony Danza, Alyssa Milano, Judith Light, Danny Pintauro, and Katherine Helmond, among others.

The story follows Tony Micelli, an ex-Major League Baseball athlete who retired after suffering a shoulder injury. Seeking to raise his daughter, Samantha, away from the hustle and bustle of New York City, Tony moves with her to Fairfield, Connecticut, where he accepts a job as the live-in housekeeper of advertising executive Angela Bower, a divorced mother raising her young son, Jonathan. The four are joined by Angela’s mother, Mona, known for her feisty nature and relationships with men of all ages.

Over the course of the series, Tony and Angela develop a growing attraction to one another, while they and their family deal with all sorts of challenges and situations life has to offer. However, they spend a good chunk of the show refusing to acknowledge it, opting to date different people. The pair eventually acknowledges their mutual romantic interest. However, the series ends without showing them tying the knot.

The series set itself apart from traditional sitcoms by challenging conventional stereotypes surrounding gender roles, for which it recieved praise from viewers and critics.
