Industry Season 4 reviews lead to a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score

Industry Season 4 has received an exceptional Rotten Tomatoes score, setting a new standard for the series. As of January 7, 2026, the latest season holds a perfect 100 percent critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 10 reviews.

The result marks the highest critical rating the HBO drama has received since its debut. Critic Hannah J. Davies of The Guardian wrote, “Good news: season four is even better, truly top-tier television that’s surely destined for end-of-year lists, a serious feat when we’re barely a week into January.”

Maddy Museen of The Standard writes, “It’s still full of indecipherable financial jargon, ethically dubious trading practices and plenty of cocaine and shouting. It’s still soundtracked by beautiful, scattering synths and still features a lot of gorgeous humans doing horrendously ugly things, repeatedly.”

The series’ critical score has steadily improved with each season. Season 1 debuted with a 76 percent critics’ score from 38 reviews and 60 percent score on Popcornmeter. Meanwhile, Season 2 saw a major rise in rating, earning a 96 percent critics’ rating from 25 reviews. Season 3 continued that upward trend, earning a 98 percent critics’ score from 44 reviews.

Season 4 centers on Harper Stern and Yasmin Kara-Hanani as they move on from Pierpoint and build their careers in the competitive world of high finance. The official synopsis reveals that a major fintech company entering the London market pulls both women into a tense power struggle. Yasmin grows closer to tech founder Sir Henry Muck, while Harper becomes connected to senior executive Whitney Halberstram.

Industry Season 4 is set to premiere on January 11, 2026.
