Millie Bobby Brown is officially one step ahead of the whole Hawkins gang. The 21-year-old actress spilled that she found out how Stranger Things ends way before anyone else, all because she wandered into the writers’ room.
Millie Bobby Brown details how she learned about Stranger Things’ ending
Millie Bobby Brown told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that she just couldn’t help herself and had to know how the final season ends. While the whole cast walked into the last table read clueless, she was sitting there with the inside scoop. “The night before the last table read, we didn’t know what was going to happen. Like, nobody knew,” she said, before admitting with a grin, “I actually did know.”
Brown’s early intel came from a bit of sneaky recon. She joked that she usually “blackmails” the directors with embarrassing high school pics. “I like to blackmail the directors,” I have high school pictures of them that I will say, ‘I will release this if you don’t tell me what’s happening!’
However, this time she tried something else and strolled into the writer’s room. “I snuck into the writers’ room, and I saw this really big whiteboard with all of the endings on it,” she told Fallon. Brown added that it was “so much to process.”
This took place right before the cast sat down for one of their most emotional final table reads. Just a night ago, Brown and Noah Schnapp made “30 friendship bracelets” for everyone, each fitted with charms that matched the actors ‘ personalities. Instead of the usual table setup, the crew lounged on couches. “We just cried for basically two hours straight,” Brown said.
Netflix also shared a sneak peek from another table read, and it shows Gaten Matarazzo, Natalia Dyer, and Charlie Heaton’s surprise reaction to the episode, “Sorcerer.” Creators Matt and Ross Duffer have also confirmed the Stranger Things finale will run “about two hours” and be broadcast over 500 screens across North America on Dec. 31.
