The actress quietly confirmed her comeback by posting a behind-the-scenes photo to her Instagram Story on December 1. She appeared in full costume as Sarah Franklin with the caption, “And we back up and running.” Her update comes nearly two months after reports circulated that her costar, David Del Rio, had been fired from the series following an allegation of sexual assault (via E! The allegation, which was said to have involved an incident on September 26 in Lewis’ trailer on the Paramount lot, prompted an immediate internal inquiry by CBS Studios. The investigation concluded on October 2, resulting in Del Rio’s removal from the set the same day. Neither the studio nor Del Rio has issued a public statement regarding the findings (via Deadline).
