Puffy 50 Cent Claps Back at Super Bowl Body Shamers, Not Convincing Us He’s Not Made of Marshmallowy Goodness

Why 50 Cent is even relevant these days, we don’t know. The one-hit-wonder hasn’t been relevant since he released “In da Club” almost 20 years ago. And yet, he was among the performers at this year’s Super Bowl halftime show, along with Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and Snoop Dogg (all of whom are also approaching musical irrelevancy, except Lamar).

But instead of insulting his outdated music, cringey fashion choices, or that weird upside-down entrance, fans went after the rapper for his burly body.

Hey, weight gain is a natural side effect of aging. Like this Twitter user pointed out, you probably aren’t the same weight you were back in the early aughts, either!

But that’s OK. 50 Cent doesn’t need random people on the internet to stand up for him. He can defend himself.

“Fat shaming only applies when your ashamed of your fat,” he said in a tweet about the “teasing” he experienced online. He also included a link to a clothing brand. Way to capitalize on the hate!

Still, isn’t it better to just embrace the pudge and stop pretending like you’re going to lose weight? There’s more of 50 Cent to love, and from the looks of it, it’s all marshmallowy goodness.
