Dublin, IRELAND: (FILES) A Ryanair jet comes in to land at Dublin airport, in Ireland, 18 September 2006. Low-cost airline Ryanair on Thursday 05 October 2006 launched an audacious bid for Aer Lingus worth 1.481 billion euros (1.883 billion dollars), just days after its Irish peer was partly privatized. The move places Europe's largest low-budget airline on course for a potential clash with the Irish government after Prime Minister Bertie Ahern insisted it has no wish to sell its minority stake of just over 28.0 percent in Aer Lingus. A deal would meanwhile create "the first trans-Atlantic budget airline", analysts at the Sucden brokerage in London said. Pissed Off Plane Passenger Uses Emergency Exit, Stands On Wing

If you’re reading this from an airport, chances are your flight has been delayed because of the massive snowstorm outside or because planes never get out on time and just suck in general. Well, one man wasn’t going to let his delayed flight keep him in his seat as he decided to use the emergency exit instead.

The 57-year-old Polish passenger on Ryanair flight FR8164 heading out from Spain’s Malaga airport, really didn’t want to wait on a parked plane, so instead of being patient he just popped open the emergency exit and headed out.

Take a look at the bizarre video below:

Here’s what a Ryanair spokesperson had to say:

“Malaga airport police immediately arrested the passenger in question and since this was a breach of Spanish safety and security regulations, it is being dealt with by the Spanish authorities.”

But there’s actually more to the store according to BBC. It seems the plane was kept parked for 30 minutes, and that the passenger was suffering from an asthma attack and needed some air. Here is what another passenger named Raj Mistry had to say:

“It seems nobody noticed that the man who decided to exit the plane was suffering from asthma. He needed air, hence he decided to exit the plane but Civil Guards didn’t want to listen to what he had to say. I was talking to him throughout the flight and there was a few times he was using his inhaler. He also took medication just before the flight took off.”

The man was eventually brought back onto the plane and arrested. But it’s hard not to root for this guy. We all know how awful all airlines are as they overcharge you and then treat you like hot trash. So kudos to this guy for doing what he did.
