It’s might be surprising to you, but Drake and Lil Wayne made more than 30 songs together! Close to 40, which would be impressive even for two veterans like Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. The two rappers love working together so much that it is kinda hard keeping track of all their collabs, let alone compare them. But we did it. Firstly, we excluded the songs from the Young Money compilation albums and focused only on tracks from Drake and Lil Wayne’s solo work. Albums, mixtapes, playlists, guest features, everything except the Young Money era.

Give a listen to the five best sounding Lil Wayne and Drake collab tracks.

Drake and Lil Wayne Best Feature Songs

Drake and Lil Wayne – HYFR (Hell Ya Fucking Right)

Not just one of the best Drake and Lil Wayne songs but one of the very best Drake songs ever, which is saying a lot. Besides having an interesting music video, HYFR is a quite a unique track in the sense that Drake plays with the tempo of his rapping a lot and the song goes from 0 to 100 in a second. Lil Wayne is the least his usual, screeching self so even people who specifically don’t like him can enjoy this track.

Drake And Lil Wayne featuring Santigold – Unstoppable ReMix

A unique track from Drake and Lil Wayne, which is to be expected from the inclusion of the very distinct Santigold in the mix. The track carries with the catchy hook while both verses are really flowy and entertaining. It’s perhaps the most electronic we’ve heard Drake and Lil Wayne go, and it’s a definitive home run that will make a lot of rap fans check out Santigold. As they should.

Drake and Lil Wayne – Used To

A rough track from the If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late Drake mixtape that really lets Drake have fun with the flow and show off that he would be a star even if he started in the early 2000s. The best car song from the Drake and Lil Wayne collabs as it has very deep basses and has a high tempo throughout with only a few moments for slowly bouncing. One of the newer tracks from the duo as evident by the omission of the YouTube link, since artists are doing that less and less now.

Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne – No Frauds

A Nicki Minaj song but one so good and so enhanced with featured by Drake and Lil Wayne that it had to be included over the sea of other exclusive Drake and Lil Wayne collabs. Raw, pure rap verses Nicki drops from the start are complemented by the perfectly autotuned hook and continued by both Drake and Lil Wayne. Even though Wizzle goes in an out of the mumble style. In general, it’s something for the old school rap fans, with just a pinch of modern.

Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Eminem – Forever

The NBA and rap music are eternally connected so it’s not surprising that Drake and Lil Wayne made a song for LeBron James together with Kanye West and Eminem. Drake starts the track and carries it on with a smooth hook, Lil Wayne gives the song some humor and lightness after Kanye. But we have to be real about the song and say that Eminem absolutely slays it and elevates the whole experience.

What did you think of this mini list? Are there any other Drake and Lil Wayne collabs that you like more than these five?
