The ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Behind the Scenes Video is Here!

If you thought Disney was going to get through an entire D23 Expo without dropping new video of Star Wars, then you are a very strange person who probably doesn’t understand how publicity works.

Sure enough, Disney delighted the fans of the world’s most popular motion picture fans with an all-new, behind the scenes video from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the eighth (official) chapter in the Star Wars motion picture series. Rian Johnson (Looper) is directing the feature, which will see the return of popular cast members Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, Mark Hamill and the late, great Carrie Fisher, as well as introduce audiences to new creatures, new environments, and new characters played by the likes of Laura Dern, Benicio Del Toro and Kelly Marie Tran.

Disney is, of course, being very tight-lipped about what will actually happen in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but we do get a good glimpse of some exciting imagery and, potentially, a hint about one of the action sequences. The footage clearly shows Daisy Ridley training to fight three opponents in a light saber duel. Makes you wonder how many opponents she’ll have in the finished film, doesn’t it…?
