Now it’s one thing to get drilled in the throat by a pigeon while you’re on a roller coaster, but it’s an entirely different thing to almost die while on a ride. And that’s exactly what happened to the girl below.
The crazy video below occurred at the Foire du Trone, an annual fair held in Paris. Now I’ve never been to this fair, but now that I’ve seen this video I don’t think I will. The video shows a swinging attraction (in what looks like something similar to the popular Slingshot ride) rise up to the air and kick off, and almost immediately one of the riders flings forward as she is thrown out of her safety harness.
The girl’s body dangles as the ride continues to swing, with her head coming inches from the concrete ground.

How in the hell does a person have a nice day at the fair after that? Answer: they don’t. It was clearly not this girl’s time to say goodbye to earth, as her head nearly miss hitting the ground, and two onlookers were able to slow her down.
The girl escaped with no serious injuries. But here’s hoping she at least got a voucher for a free meal at the fair.
