Serena Ryder

Serena Ryder does what she does naturally and effortlessly, and has done what she does naturally and effortlessly since she was a young girl. This spring can hear the further results of Ryder’s ongoing liberation on Utopia, which extrapolates upon its predecessor’s “anything goes” template with even more confidence and joy.

Walk Off The Earth

Walk Off The Earth is an unconventional, multi-talented five-piece musical phenomena that is currently taking the world by storm. Their brilliant five-people-playing-one-guitar interpretation of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know”  exploded on Youtube garnering well over 35 million views in under two weeks. For the past five years, the band has built a massive following of dedicated fans from around the world through their unique and heartwarming approach to songwriting, filming and constant, open interaction with everyone their music touches. Their independent spirit, unstoppable work ethic and awe-inspiring creativity has catapulted Walk Off The Earth into new and uncharted waters with only bigger and better things on the horizon.

Keys N Krates

The Toronto group released their new Midnite Mass EP – from its title track (an intro that sounds like a suspenseful thesis) to a Katy B collab (“Save Me”) that’ll beam old-school ravers straight back to the ’90s, there’s something for everybody from this unique group.

Ruth B

Alberta native Ruth Berhe released her debut EP, The Intro, in November 2015, and has been heading up, up, up every since.

Scott Helman

It was four years from a performance in a record company boardroom to topping the CBC radio charts and having a multi-format hit with his first single, “Bungalow.” And then, it was only another six months before he was touring the US and Europe with Walk Off The Earth, performing live on national TV and receiving his first gold record.

Bobby Bazini

This French Canadian singer-songwriter from Mont-Laurier, Quebec has released three studio albums, the latest one being Summer Is Gone, which hit shelves last November.

Austra

An electronic music project from Toronto, Austra have three albums under their belt – their first two albums earned them places on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.

BROS

An English band with stayability (they formed back in 1986), they’re comprised of twin brothers as well as a third bandmate. They broke up in 1992 and are reuniting this year.

William Prince

A singer/songwriter from the ‘Peg, Prince’s debut album Earthly Days was produced by long-time collaborator Scott Nolan, which led to him being named the 2014 Aboriginal Songwriter of the Year at the Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards (newly named Indigenous Music Awards). His lead single “The Carny” went to Number 1 on the Sirius XM National Aboriginal Music Countdown Top 40, and his most recent single “You Got Me” is currently climbing the charts.

Sarah Slean

Over the course of her 15-year career Sarah Slean has made eight albums, starred in two short films and a movie musical, published two volumes of poetry, held exhibitions of her paintings, written two string quartets, and shared the stage with five of the country’s leading orchestras. During that time she was also nominated for three Junos, two Geminis, and her records have been released in over 10 countries worldwide.
